ELEVATION GAIN: 225 meters DISTANCE: 2.8 KM Round Trip Bears hump is a popular hike in Waterton National Park with rewarding views. You will find the trailhead at the visitor centre on the west side of Hwy 5 as you enter the town. The hike itself is short but is very steep! I’d rate this hike as moderate just because of how steep it is. The only positive note about the steep trail is that it doesn’t go on for too long (only about 1.4km’s). At the top you will be rewarded with amazing views of the town, the lake and the Prince of Wales Hotel. This is a popular trail so be prepared for lots of people on the trail.
Happy Trails!
